If
you are a Groton resident, interested in being active in the
local, state and federal government please join with us. Help
us recruit residents to run for local office, including Town
Council, Board of Education
and Representative Town Meeting
(for more information about these, go to www.town.groton.ct.us)
and to serve on local Boards and
Commissions... like Library
Board, Recreation, Planning
and Zoning, Board of Assessment
Appeals, Historic District,
Shellfish etc...We raise 6-8 thousand
dollars a year to conduct election related activities. All donations
are welcome and appreciated.
There
is a separate Democratic Town Committee for the City
of Groton. Many people active there, are active in the
Town as well. To contact someone about Democratic activities

We
meet every month on the fourth Thursday
of the month at 7 p.m. at the
Town Hall Annex. Everyone is welcome
to attend these meetings. Please, come and meet us and find
out what is going on in your town.
